Did some research and some drawing and made the following, these are the standard dimensions for a chevrolet bellhousing dowel/locating pins and bolt pattern. There are 2 main bolt patterns; I thought it used to be in the motorsport catalog but not in any i can find.

Anyone have a legitimate bellhousing cad drawing or techinical information on dowel pin locations and boltholes for these two engine/transmission bolt patterns. Those of you who know 70's cj's will know that this is clearly not stock. Some say lincoln only and 460 c6.

Would anyone have a dimensioned drawing of the early 6.9, 7.3 idi bell housing or the 7.3 powerstroke bell housing drawing.

Note the ofset g/box mounting tab and remember, jap's copy everything.also some jeep cj's had the pontiac 2.5l four in front of a t5. It gets even more confusing when the 'small block' 351m/400 shares the 'big block' 429/460/6.9/7.3 bellhousing pattern, and we have at least 2 small block patterns maybe more as i have no idea what a mod motor uses. Model years can range from 1986 to 2003.
